the begining of August

Wow! I can't believe it! it is Aug. 3rd already!!! WHERE does the time go?!?!
I have had some friend with my kids, my middle daughter & hubby & 3 kids & 2 dogs came for a 2 week visit! W
O
W! It was fun, BUT we all fot the flu! These are moments I do not like to relive! LOL
We did have some fun times too :)
My oldest daughter, hubby & baby boy, with thier dog came for a couple of days, not long enough, but he is a Pastor so time is limited for them to visit. I am looking forward to going to my youngest daughters home to celebrate her sons 1st Birthday in September, what fun!
I have been dabling with beading, joined a 1 a month club, so that is cool!
TRYING to crochet, BUT the weather makes it a bit tough for me to have afghans on my lap.

May 19th, where hass the time gone?!?!

I can't believe that its the middle of May already! I have been to Gillett for new grandson's birth for 2 weeks, then home for 5 days, on vacation May 1st to Tennessee with my middle daughter & her hubby & thier 3 children, had a wonderful time with the 3 grandkids, ages 4&1/2, 2&1/2 & almost 9 months old, what fun! Then headed to hubby's nephew's home outside of St. Louis, MO for Mother's Day weekend, then on Mother's Day afternoon headed to youngest Daughter's in Bourbonnais, IL & visit with 8 month old grandson til Tuesday afternoon, home for overnight, then pick up doggie at kennel on Wed. Morning, then head back up to Gillett to visit with 1st born daughter & new grandson, WEW! I get tired just thinking about all that we did! We did not have good weather in TN, it rained every day but the day before we left, sigh, but we still managed to have a good time!
I am still trying to get back to 'normal' what ever that is!
Hubby is also trying to get back in the groove of being back to work.
Well, that's it for me! I Delivered an order yesterday, should deliver 1 today, & need to get to sam's Club. Bye for now!

I'm a Grammy ---- AGAIN!!!

Well, as of Tuesday I have driven up north to my 1st born daughters home, packing my Black Lab, dropped him off & then headed to the hospital which is 1 hr away from thier home which is 3 hours away from my home! The drive was beautiful & uneventful, YEY! Caleb Alexander was born at 6:57 p.m., weighed 7lbs. 5oz. & 20 & 1/2" long! daughter went to the doc on Monday & things wher fine, and starting to happen, THEN Tuesday morning she was having contractions & headed to the Hospital to find out little Caleb was doing flip flops & was now Breech, sooo, C-Section time! Mother & Baby doing fine, so is Dad & Grammy!

Spring is trying to come

Here it is, 6 days before my new Grandson is due to be born!!!! This is way exciting for me. This IS truely the best part of parenthood ----Being a Grammy!

Well, we have had a beautiful weekend!! I was able to go to MK meeting, get a loooong walk in with doggy, get some laundery done, pay some bills, go to church, make a couple of phones calls, and I am back to being healthy, how much better can it get?
Got a pretty busy week ahead of me, as I need to get phone calling done & do nursery schedule & stuff done. My 1st born is due to have her 1st born in 3 weeks --- Easter sunday, so exciting times ahead!

Well, DH is a bit bwetter, but I fell, thanks to my doggy Sparky, & twisted my ankle & foot, ugh! doing better each day, though, so that is good! Hubby is off tomorrow & it is suppose to be 50, YAHOO! He wants to go fishin' so hopefully I will be able to go out walking!
